Editorial Policy
This page explains how ALMiqra content is written, checked and updated, so you can judge how much to trust it.
Our purpose
ALMiqra exists to make financial education free, simple and useful for everyone. We want you to understand how money products work, so that you can ask better questions and decide for yourself.
How we write
Each guide starts with a short direct answer, then explains the idea in plain words with a worked example. We write in English, Hinglish and Hindi, and each language is written to read naturally, not as a word-for-word copy.
Sources
For rules, rates and definitions we rely on official sources first, such as RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, AMFI, the stock exchanges, depositories, the Income Tax Department and government scheme portals. We open the source, check its date and link to it at the end of the page.
Numbers and examples
Examples use made-up names and numbers and are marked as hypothetical. We calculate the numbers again before publishing. Calculators show only mathematics based on what you enter and the assumptions stated on the page.
Independence
At present ALMiqra has no advertising, no affiliate links and no sponsored content, and we earn no commission from any provider. We do not recommend or rank products, funds, insurers or lenders. If this ever changes, it will be clearly labelled and this policy will be updated first.
Review and updates
Every page is read by the ALMiqra team before it goes live. Pages that depend on rules, rates or taxes are re-checked regularly and whenever an official change is announced. Each page shows its last updated date. If a qualified professional has reviewed a page, we will say so on that page and name them only with their consent.
What we do not do
We do not give personal advice, tell you what to buy or sell, promise returns, predict markets, copy other websites or publish unverified claims. See also our AI Use Policy and Corrections Policy.
